As a Radiologic Technologist with Urgent Team, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, convenient care to patients in a fast-paced urgent and family care environment. You will perform diagnostic radiographic examinations in accordance with physician orders, established protocols, and regulatory standards, ensuring that every study is accurate, timely, and conducted with the highest regard for patient safety and comfort. In this role, you will greet and prepare patients for imaging procedures, verify patient identity and exam orders, and carefully explain each procedure to reduce anxiety and promote understanding. You will position patients accurately, operate radiologic equipment to obtain optimal images, and utilize PACS and electronic medical records systems to document and transmit studies efficiently. A strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and radiographic techniques is essential, along with the ability to recognize and adapt to patient limitations while still obtaining diagnostic-quality images. You will be responsible for consistently practicing radiation safety and protection, including proper use of shielding, adherence to ALARA principles, and routine equipment checks. Infection prevention, room cleanliness, and strict compliance with HIPAA and all relevant state and federal regulations will be a routine part of your work. Collaboration is central to success at Urgent Team, and you will work closely with providers, nurses, and front office staff to coordinate patient flow, prioritize urgent cases, and support overall clinical operations. Urgent Team promotes a culture of continuous improvement, teamwork, and high-quality patient care. As part of this culture, you will participate in ongoing training, quality assurance activities, and performance improvement initiatives aimed at elevating the patient experience and the reliability of imaging services. You will be encouraged to share ideas, help refine workflows, and support colleagues, contributing to a respectful and supportive work environment built on integrity and mutual trust. Working at Urgent Team offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact through direct patient care while advancing your professional skills. Radiologic Technologists in our centers gain broad exposure to a variety of patient conditions and age groups, from minor injuries to more complex urgent issues. This variety helps maintain and deepen clinical competence while keeping each day dynamic and engaging. Urgent Team supports professional growth through access to learning opportunities, evolving responsibilities, and the chance to contribute to best practices in urgent care imaging. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and excellent interpersonal skills. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical setting, prioritizing multiple tasks, and maintaining a calm, compassionate presence with patients and families. Reliability, punctuality, and a commitment to delivering consistent, high-quality imaging services are essential. If you are a Radiologic Technologist who values teamwork, patient-centered care, and continuous improvement, Urgent Team offers a rewarding opportunity to grow your career while serving the needs of the community.
