Urgent Team, a leading independent operator of urgent and family care centers across the Southeastern United States, is seeking skilled and compassionate Radiology Technicians to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team. In this role, you will provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services in a fast-paced urgent care environment, directly supporting providers and playing a key part in delivering safe, efficient, and patient-centered care. As a Radiology Technician with Urgent Team, you will perform a variety of radiologic procedures, including routine diagnostic X-rays and other exams as permitted by your credentials and state regulations. You will accurately position patients, operate radiographic equipment, and ensure that images are of diagnostic quality while strictly following radiation safety protocols and ALARA principles. You will verify provider orders, document procedures in the electronic medical record, and utilize PACS and related systems to process and transmit images in a timely manner. You will work closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, and front-desk staff to coordinate care and maintain efficient patient flow. This includes educating patients about procedures, addressing questions and concerns, and ensuring their comfort and safety before, during, and after imaging. You will adhere to infection-control practices, assist with room and equipment cleaning and restocking, and help maintain a clean, organized, and compliant clinical environment. Because Urgent Team values teamwork, continuous improvement, and high-quality patient care, you will be encouraged to collaborate with colleagues, participate in ongoing training, and support process improvements that enhance patient experience and clinical outcomes. You may also assist with limited clinical tasks within your scope of practice, such as obtaining vital signs, helping with patient triage, or supporting basic clinical procedures, especially during high-volume periods. This position is well suited for Radiology Technicians who are detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable working in a dynamic setting where patient needs can change quickly. You should be committed to delivering respectful, compassionate care to patients of all ages and backgrounds, maintaining patient confidentiality, and upholding Urgent Team’s values of integrity, respect, and collaboration. In return, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the communities we serve, grow professionally, and contribute to a supportive workplace culture focused on doing what is best for patients and team members alike.
