Urgent Team is seeking an ARRT Radiology / Limited License X-Ray Technologist to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team, providing high-quality imaging and patient care in a fast-paced urgent care environment. As a key clinical member in one of our Southeast locations, you will perform diagnostic and limited-scope X-ray examinations to support accurate, timely diagnosis and treatment for patients of all ages. Working closely with providers, nurses, and front-office staff, you will deliver safe, efficient, and compassionate care that reflects Urgent Team’s commitment to quality, affordability, and convenience. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and positioning patients for radiographic procedures, operating X-ray equipment within your licensure and scope of practice, and producing images that meet established quality standards while carefully following radiation safety guidelines. You will verify patient identity, review orders for appropriateness, explain procedures to reduce anxiety, and ensure that all imaging is performed with a strong focus on patient comfort, dignity, and safety. You will also follow ALARA principles, adhere to infection control protocols, and maintain a clean, well-organized imaging area. Beyond imaging, you may assist with basic clinical tasks typical of an urgent care setting, such as obtaining vital signs, supporting triage efforts, preparing exam rooms, and documenting care in the electronic medical record. Accurate and timely documentation, effective communication with healthcare providers, and coordination with front-desk staff are essential to ensure a smooth patient flow and an excellent overall experience. You will contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by following clinical and operational policies, participating in training, and actively supporting quality initiatives. Urgent Team promotes a culture grounded in respect, integrity, teamwork, and high-quality patient care. As an ARRT Radiology / Limited License X-Ray Technologist, you will be encouraged to collaborate, share ideas, and practice at the top of your skills within your licensure. You will have opportunities for ongoing professional growth and development through exposure to a wide variety of patient conditions, cross-training within the clinic, and access to learning resources designed to help you advance in your imaging and clinical career. The ideal candidate brings a strong technical foundation in radiographic imaging, a current ARRT credential or appropriate state limited license, and a passion for patient-centered care. You should be comfortable working in a busy, walk-in environment where priorities can shift quickly, and where clear communication and sound clinical judgment are vital. Flexibility, reliability, and a positive attitude toward both patients and colleagues are critical to success. In return, Urgent Team offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the community by delivering essential healthcare services when patients need them most. You will join a supportive, team-focused environment that values your expertise, respects your contributions, and recognizes the important role radiologic technologists play in safe, accurate diagnosis and treatment. If you are dedicated to quality imaging, excellent patient care, and continuous improvement, this ARRT Radiology / Limited License X-Ray Technologist role with Urgent Team may be the ideal next step in your healthcare career.
