About This Role
As a School Bus Driver, you'll transport students safely to and from school each day, taking responsibility for their wellbeing while ensuring on-time arrivals. Your typical day involves pre-trip vehicle inspections, conducting child checks after each route, maintaining accurate records, and communicating professionally with students, parents, and staff. This is a dedicated route position, giving you consistency and predictable scheduling—ideal if you value routine and being home regularly. You'll need a Class B CDL with passenger and school bus endorsements, a clean driving record, and genuine dependability. The role suits drivers who thrive working with young passengers and take pride in safety compliance. Beyond a competitive starting wage of $28/hour, you'll receive paid training, paid holidays, PTO, comprehensive medical/dental/vision coverage, 401(k) matching, and annual pay increases. This is meaningful work where you directly impact your community by helping students succeed.
