Job Description
Truck Gate Security Officer — Full Time — Morris, IL Wage: $20.00/HR Join our team at Securitas Security where you will have the opportunity to serve the community while receiving elite training in safety and security. We are seeking customer service driven individuals for security positions. What You Can Expect Conflict resolution and de-escalation. Perform access control at security entrances / exits. Conduct patrols inside / outside the client’s premises, potentially in various weather conditions and in different types of terrain. Frequent interactions with client employees and guests. Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity. Provide detailed written reports. Work in a team environment to ensure site / organizational goals are achieved daily.

High School Diploma, GED, OR ability to complete the GED program within 6 months. 2 years of security experience or experience in trucking logistics preferred. Standard computer / technology skills needed. TWIC card is a plus. Customer service background preferred. Law Enforcement or Military experience a plus!! Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a calm and professional manner.
- Must have great attention to detail and the ability to remain alert throughout the duration of the shift.
- Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgement and use appropriate escalation.
