Urgent Team is seeking a skilled and compassionate X-Ray Tech to join our Healthcare & Medical Services department, supporting our mission to provide quality, affordable, and convenient care to the communities we serve. As an integral member of our clinical team, you will perform diagnostic radiographic examinations for patients of all ages in a fast-paced urgent and family care environment, ensuring accurate imaging, patient safety, and excellent service with every encounter. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing patients for X-ray procedures, verifying orders, explaining exams, and positioning patients to obtain high-quality diagnostic images while minimizing radiation exposure according to established safety standards and ALARA principles. You will operate digital and portable radiography equipment, evaluate images for diagnostic clarity, and promptly transmit studies through our PACS system to support timely clinical decision-making. Collaboration with providers and clinical staff is central to this position, and you will work closely with physicians, nurse practitioners, and medical assistants to support efficient patient flow and coordinated care. The X-Ray Tech will also assist with basic clinical tasks within their scope of practice, which may include obtaining vital signs, helping with patient intake, supporting triage, and assisting with procedures as directed by providers. Strict adherence to infection control practices, OSHA guidelines, and organizational policies is required to maintain a clean, safe environment for patients and staff.
