About This Role

This local Class A role is designed for skilled operators who prefer handling heavy machinery over long-haul monotony. Your daily routine centers on transporting and securing large-scale construction equipment across the metro area, requiring a hands-on approach to loading and unloading flatbeds. Beyond just driving, you will act as a subject matter expert by guiding customers on how to safely operate the gear you deliver. The schedule offers a steady Monday through Friday routine, typically starting at 5 AM, which ensures you are home every single night to reset. Experienced drivers with at least two years behind the wheel—specifically those familiar with heavy haul or tanker operations—will find this environment a perfect match. A standout financial highlight of this position is the unique overtime averaging benefit, which remarkably continues to pay you at an overtime rate even while you are taking vacation time. With starting pay reaching up to $38.70 per hour and a weekly check schedule, this role rewards precision and reliability with both competitive compensation and a consistent work-life balance.
