About This Role

As a Class B CDL Driver with Triumvirate Environmental, you'll operate commercial vehicles transporting hazardous and non-hazardous materials throughout Alabama while maintaining strict compliance with DOT and safety regulations. Your day involves pre- and post-trip inspections, managing digital logbooks, securing loads properly, and coordinating with dispatch to ensure timely deliveries. You'll also handle manifest documentation and assist with loading/unloading as needed. Working Monday through Friday with flexible scheduling, this is a local route that keeps you close to home. The role suits drivers who take safety seriously, can work independently yet communicate effectively with supervisors and clients, and are willing to continuously develop their skills. Responsibilities: Safely operate and drive commercial vehicles, including but not limited to 24’ box trucks, in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations. Transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste materials to disposal or recycling facilities. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles, ensuring they are in safe operating condition. Maintain accurate digital logs of working hours, vehicle service, and repair status, following all applicable DOT regulations. Complete all required manifest paperwork and documentation accurately. Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and clients to ensure timely and accurate delivery of services. Assist with loading and unloading of materials as needed. Properly secure load to ensure safe & compliant transportation of materials. Participate in ongoing training and development programs to maintain industry knowledge and skills. Basic Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License. Active Hazmat endorsement or willingness to obtain one. Proficiency in driving manual transmission vehicles is required. Strong commitment to safety and environmental compliance. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must have a reliable form of transportation. Must be willing to consent to Motor Vehicle Record screening, criminal background check, pre-employment physical, and drug screen (inclusive of THC). Upon employment, you will be required to participate in a random drug screening program (inclusive of THC) as part of our company’s commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment. Must be able to lift 60 pounds on a regular basis. Perform warehouse duties as needed on an occasional basis. Must be willing to work flexible hours within the work week (Monday through Friday).
