Job Description
About the Role R-K-Campf Transport is hiring experienced Class A CDL drivers for Local Flatbed, Regional Flatbed, and OTR Reefer positions. Whether you want to be home every night or prefer the open road, we have a lane that fits your lifestyle — backed by late-model assigned equipment, 24/7 maintenance support, and a team that invests in your long-term success. Available Positions Local Flatbed Home every night and weekends. Routes run a triangle between Pittsburgh, Cleveland, and the Youngstown/Sharon areas. Regional Flatbed Home most weeknights and every weekend. Regular runs to Chicago, Indiana, and Michigan, with occasional lanes to North Carolina and Arkansas. OTR Reefer Home most weekends. Varied freight across the Midwest and Eastern states, with longer runs available. Compensation Benefits Starting
pay: 25% of line haul (24% if entering our training program), with increases based on longevity Average annual earnings: $60,000 – $110,000 depending on work ethic, business conditions, and lanes $200 bonus for every clean roadside inspection $2,000 driver referral bonus Annual retention bonus Paid major holidays Vacation: 1 week after year one, 2 weeks after year two, 3 weeks after year five Medical insurance available after 60 days — only $50/week for driver coverage Paid life insurance Disability benefit through Aflac after one year, with additional Aflac packages available Weekly pay — direct deposit available (Company Drivers: Fridays | Owner Operators: Tuesdays) Assigned trucks — no slip seating Requirements Minimum age: 25 Valid Class A CDL with a clean MVR (no more than 1 accident or minor infraction) Minimum 2 years of verifiable Class A driving experience; flatbed experience preferred Ability to operate and maintain ELog device and comply with DOT 70-hour service requirements Proficiency in cargo securement, tarping, and proper use of chains, binders, straps, and related equipment Ability to safely operate truck and trailer in all driving and weather conditions Ability to perform thorough pre- and post-trip inspections daily Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 100 lbs and work at heights or in rough terrain Strong attention to paperwork accuracy, including Bills of Lading Why R-K-Campf Assigned, late-model equipment — no fighting over trucks Excellent on-site maintenance and 24/7 roadside support A team environment with real home-time options across all positions A company that rewards clean driving and long-term commitment R-K-Campf Transport is an equal opportunity employer.
