CDL Truck Driver - Oil Hauler - (Day Night Shift) - Wheeling, WV Job description: Day

Shift: $3,000 SIGN ON BONUS Night

Shift: $5,000 SIGN ON BONUS Key Duties and Responsibilities The responsibilities of the Class A position include, but are not limited to: Equipment Operation Complete pre-and post-trip safety inspections and ensure proper machine and equipment start-up, usage, operation and shut-down. Understand and follow directions of supervisors. Maintain cleanliness of company vehicles and equipment. Monitor vehicle performance, fluid levels, and mechanical fitness and communicate any issues to Fleet Manager or Supervisors. Ensure a firm understanding of company Standard Operating Procedures and appropriate state and federal laws and regulations. Read maps or set GPS to determine and track daily routes as required. Follow driving laws, rules, and regulations while operating the vehicle at all times. Technical Knowledge Knowledge of the operation of the truck and associated equipment Understanding of equipment controls, GPS, and driver log regulations Safety Promote, execute and adhere to the company's safety policies and program and encourage all employees, subcontractors and consultants to adopt safety as a culture. Work in a safe, responsible manner being attentive to your safety and the safety of others Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, talk and hear. The employee is constantly required to use hands and fingers to feel, handle or operate objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus. Required Qualifications: Valid CDL Class A with required endorsements Minimum of High School Diploma, GED or equivalent Minimum 21 years of age 2 year driving experience preferred Clean driving record Must be able to travel to various locations to perform work, based on operational need.
